The Gunners were utterly dominant in the first half but it took a moment of real quality from Gabriel Jesus to break the deadlock. The Brazilian took the ball down to immediately turn Macros Senesi, before dribbling past three defenders and playing in Gabriel Martinelli. His shot was then saved but rebounded for Martin Odegaard to tap home.
Odegaard was then on hand to make it 2-0, firing home after Jesus mis-controlled Ben White's low cross. This was all within the first 10 minutes.
It wasn't long into the second half when William Saliba - who had had his name being sung by the Arsenal fans all game - made it three with a sublime finish from the edge of the box on his weaker foot. Here football.london takes a look back at some of the moments you may have missed from the game.

Why Arsenal didn't celebrate Odegaard's goal with the Norwegian
The game got off to a pretty perfect start for Arsenal as Martin Odegaard slotted them home inside just five minutes. While it was the Norwegian who got the glory, the goal was all about the run of Gabriel Jesus in the build up.
The Brazilian plucked the ball out of the sky to immediately turn Marcos Senesi before going on to beat three players in a mazy dribble despite appearing to be off balance. Jesus then slotted a perfect pass through to Gabriel Martinelli who saw his shot well saved by Mark Travers before Odegaard tapped home the rebound. Recognising the brilliance they had just seen Martinelli, Oleksandr Zinchenko and Granit Xhaka all ran over to jubilantly celebrate with Jesus before the rest of the team came over to join.
White bares the brunt of Arteta fury
It may have been a pretty dominant display from Arsenal in the first half, but Mikel Arteta still wasn't fully happy. He could be seen prowling the touchline, yelling furiously at his players when they weren't exactly on it.
One of those to bare the brunt was Ben White. The England defender was on the other side of the pitch to Arteta, but the Spaniard was still able to scream above the noise of the crowd to lambast his right-back for pushing too high instead of being back to cover when Arsenal were in possession. Safe to say the standards at the club right now are pretty high.
Saliba's new chant
After an excellent start to the long-awaited beginning of his Arsenal career, William Saliba is one of the most popular players in North London right now. His performance at the Vitality Stadium will have done little to dampen that excitement.
It got to a point in the first half where Kiefer Moore was so frustrated at his inability to lay a glove on the 21-year-old that he spun and threw his arms up in the air in anger. Arsenal fans were keen to serenade Saliba for his efforts and having previously gone for 'Oh William Saliba' to the tune of 'Seven Nation Army' by the White Stripes, they decided something better was required. The Frenchman's new chant of "do-do-do Saliba" to the tune of Tequila by The Champs rang around the Vitality for a good 10 minutes and you can expect to hear it more often as the season goes on.
Zinchenko reaction to Saliba goal
As if things couldn't get much better for William Saliba the Frenchman thundered home his first Arsenal goal. Gabriel Martinelli did well to find Granit Xhaka at the back stick, the Swiss then chested it back to Saliba and the Frenchman curled home on his weaker left foot.
It was a sublime strike that not many knew Saliba had in his locker including one of his teammates. Oleksandr Zinchenko in complete shock raised his hands to his head before shaking them in total disbelief. Gabriel Jesus then followed suit in a delightful moment for the Gunners.
