Remember the heady days in the middle of the Coronavirus lockdown, when the only thing that added some structure to an otherwise empty timetable was logging onto Wordle, and posting the resulting green and white squares to social media?
Well, if you were a fan, then you’re in for a treat. Here’s Tuble - a brand new word game app, but based around the London Underground stops.
Here’s everything you need to know...
What is Tuble and how does it work?
Joining a raft of already successful variants, from Quordle to Heardle, Lewdle, Moviedle, and Taylordle, Tuble takes its inspiration from the London Underground.
The concept is easy enough to understand, but the actual playing of the game is extremely difficult.
It’s essentially a variation on Wordle - where the player has to guess a five-letter word, in six attempts.
Each time the player makes a guess, they’re told which of their chosen letters are in the target word, and whether they are in the correct place or not.
The player is given six guesses in order to identify a tube station, and after each guess, the player must find out how many zones away they are from the correct answer.
It sounds pretty easy, right? Well, no - you’re wrong.
For a start, the Tube network is actually chock full of numerous stops you may have never heard of, from Park Royal to Fairlop and Cyprus.
Honestly, hold your hands up and tell me that you could tell me where Pinner is with your eyes closed.
How do I play Tuble?
In order to play Tuble, you simply need to visit the game’s website, tuble.co.uk, where you will be able to access the game and start playing!
You can then copy your results to your clipboard, where they can be shared on social media.
