Fans of Saturday Night Takeaway were treated to a performance by Canadian crooner Michael Buble as the popular ITV show returned following a week off. Last week SNT was paused because of the the Six Nations rugby.
But Ant and Dec' s family entertainment show came back swinging with a show opener from the Grammy-winning singer songwriter. And members of the studio audience were on their feet as Michael belted out his new single Higher from his first album in four years of the same name.
But many viewers took to Twitter to say they were confused over seeing the star so early on in the year.

And they asked 'what's going on?' because, after all, Buble is known as the undisputed king of Christmas because of his huge festive album which celebrated its 10th anniversary in 2021.
