A report commissioned by Logika Group Air Quality Consultants has said that Ultra Low Emission Zone (ULEZ) policies achieved improvements in air quality between 2019-2022.
The Ultra Low Emission Zone is estimated to have reduced nitrous oxide emissions from traffic between 2019 and 2022 by 13,500 tonnes - and reduced harmful road traffic particulate matter emissions by 180 tonnes across the same period.
