The first-ever NHL 4 Nations Face-Off will take place between February 10-20, 2025. The four nations participating are Canada, Finland, Sweden, and the United States.
It is a highly anticipated round-robin tournament that will excite hockey fans in the lead-up to the 2026 Winter Olympics in Milan and Cortina d’Ampezzo, Italy, in February 2026.
What We Know About The 4 Nations Face-Off?
Seven games will be played over a nine-day period in two locations, the Bell Center in Montreal and the TD Garden in Boston.

Before the games, there will be two practice days (February 10 and 11).
The game schedule is as follows:
- February 12 at 8 PM EST: Canada vs. Sweden at Bell Center
- February 13 at 8 PM EST: USA vs Finland at Bell Center
- February 15 at 1 PM EST: Finland vs. Sweden at Bell Center
- February 15 at 8 PM EST: USA vs. Canada at Bell Center
- February 17 at 1 PM EST: Canada vs. Finland at TD Garden
- February 17 at 8 PM EST: Sweden vs. USA at TD Garden
- February 20 at 8 PM EST: Championship at TD Garden
Games will be broadcast in the US and Canada. The US channels will be TNT, ESPN, and ABC. In Canada, the games will air on Sportsnet and TVA.
4 Nations Face-Off Rosters
Each country will have 23 players: 20 skaters and 3 goalies. Players selected must be under an NHL contract and on an NHL roster as of December 2, 2024.
Pittsburgh Penguins head coach Mike Sullivan will coach the Team USA. He is also Team USA’s coach for the 2026 Winter Olympics.
The NHL and NHL Players Association will announce the team rosters on December 4. There has been plenty of intrigue about who will be on each team, but the final rosters will soon answer all of the questions.
