The UK government is failing to deliver adequate compensation fast enough to the thousands of people impacted by the infected blood scandal, a report has revealed.

Sir Brian Langstaff, who is currently leading an inquiry into the NHS scandal, said in his report that few people have been allowed to start the process of claiming compensation and are facing “obvious injustices.”
