BBC The One Show viewers were left confused after an awkward interview on Thursday night's programme (November 24) which some even branded a 'car crash'.
Comedian Emily Atack, former Spice Girl Mel B and actress Ruby Wax joined Alex Jones and Ronan Keating on the show to discuss their new TV series, Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip. It sees the women pay homage to intrepid Victorian explorer Isabella Bird as they retrace her steps through the mountain range in Colorado, USA.
Emily, Mel and Ruby were telling The One Show presenters all about their road trip exploits - but the interview soon turned chaotic when the women started talking over each other. They were discussing the second day on their trip when it began.

Ruby asked: "Are we talking over each other?" which neither of the girls acknowledged, as Mel B continued talking. As the interview went on - and the chatting over each other continued - Mel concluded the interview with a quip.
Ruby was explaining: "So we were after the American dream and then it went rotten" as Mel B interjected: "Just like this interview!" The joke sent the studio into bursts of laughter, as Mel reminded people to tune into the new series.
As she did, Ruby appears to grab Mel's arm and jokingly hold her back with an arm and a leg - as both continued to laugh. But viewers were less than impressed with the interview.
@thatsmypeachx said: "What...is...happening...This is the biggest car crash of an interview between Mel B, Ruby Wax and Emily Atack #TheOneShow" as @UOSMICE echoed: "#TheOneShow Trailblazers Road Trip Documentary. This interview was a car crash from beginning to end. HILARIOUS".
@kjgodwin tweeted: "Sorry .. switched over after 30 seconds of all that chaos… awful!! #TheOneShow" as @tomjamesclark simply asked: "What on earth is going on #TheOneShow".
Others admitted that the interview put them off wanting to watch the new programme. @FlopsyPickle said: "I did like the idea of that show with them three but if it’s even a little bit like how they behaved in this interview then I’ll definitely be giving it a miss. #TheOneShow" and @Fiona99530961 added: "I won’t be watching Rocky Mountain Road Trip if that interview is anything to go by #TheOneShow".
Trailblazers: A Rocky Mountain Road Trip airs on BBC Two and iPlayer from Monday 28 November at 9pm.
