What I Learned: Scottie Scheffler Is a Dubious World No. 1

Every Monday Alex Miceli will share what he learned from the previous week in golf.

I learned a lot this week, which made it hard to pick just one thing to write about.

1. I learned that Tiger Woods is human and can succumb to the flu bug just like the rest of us.
2. I learned that the combination of a player, his playing competitor and an official scorer working together all in the same trailer, can still find a way to screw up a scorecard.
3. On that note, I learned that many people believe Jordan Spieth got a raw deal for signing an incorrect scorecard, though they all acknowledge it’s a rule, albeit a stupid one.
