Jack Harrison's Leeds United career looks to be as unclear as ever with the winger's poor form seemingly deterring any club from making a bid for his services.
Harrison has made his name at Elland Road in recent years after a temporary move from Manchester City was made permanent last summer following three years on loan in west Yorkshire. Scoring eight goals in both of his Premier League seasons, Harrison may struggle again given his poor return of just one goal in 13 games so far this term.
Previous interest has been shown by fellow top-flight sides such as Newcastle and Everton, with his form from last season owing to expected suitors from across the board. But with Harrison - who turns 26 today - having just 18 months left on his contract, his future remains unclear. What does the future hold in store for the Englishman? Leeds Live takes you through what has been said recently on his future at Elland Road.

Jesse Marsch
Marsch refused to rule out a move for Harrison when Leeds took to Brisbane for their pre-season tour - although he did envisage Harrison staying at the club as a 'big part of his plans'.
“We’ll see, we’ll see what happens,” Marsch said back in July.
“There’s always been interest in Jack, like many of our players,” he said after the Aston Villa defeat. “But I know that Jack is also very happy here and that he’s done a really good job, that he’s a big part of what we’re doing.
“Of course there’s always possibilities that big transfer offers come in and clubs then have to decide how it fits and what are the best options moving forward. But, for me, Jack Harrison is a big part of our plans moving forward and we’re counting on him this season, for sure.”
Andrea Radrizzani
“Absolutely not. There is no way. Jack stays here," Radrizzani said in an interview with The Athletic back in August.
Gabby Agbonlahor
"It's 'can I go and get double-and-a-half my money at Newcastle? Or, sign for a little bit more at Leeds?," Agbonlahor told Football Insider back in September.
"Leeds won't be big payers. Maybe, he's looking at that. Football, yes, you love playing at clubs but you want to be earning as much money as possible.
"Maybe that's going through his mind. He'll see Dan Burn, Trippier and all these players going for big money wages and thinking of that himself. I don't think he signs a new contract unless Leeds improve his pay a lot."
Furthermore, The Athletic reported back in August that Leeds made it clear they have no intention of selling Harrison to the Magpies over the summer. Newcastle returned with a second proposal in late August, which was again rejected by Leeds. The second bid was thought to have been over £20million but Leeds’ valuation of a player (thought to be £35m), who hoped to represent his country at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, was a lot higher.
Of course, Harrison has come nowhere near the England squad this term, with performances dwindling and other stars such as James Maddison coming to the fore alongside regular fixtures such as Bukayo Saka, Phil Foden and Raheem Sterling.
Whether that stances chances over the coming months with either an upturn or downturn in form is something for the Leeds board to decide upon; though they know that time is ticking before the Stoke-born star's contract becomes a real pressing issues.
