Streaming star Vitaly Zdorovetskiy is currently under fire after a major mistake on his "Catching Child Predators" show. During a recent live broadcast, the YouTuber and his team cornered a man named Akash Singhania, accusing him of being a predator. Because it showed a very emotional and bloody battle, the video quickly went popular on the X platform on April 13, 2026. Vitaly has been made to retract his claims since the actual events turned out to be rather different from what he had described.
Singhania needed to demonstrate his innocence when he called police officers because he wanted to show them he had no role in the incident. The Santa Ana Police Department investigation determined that Singhania had not committed any crime and the officers found him to be non-threatening. Vitaly has deleted the video, which contained footage of the incident, while he issued an official apology that stated his team had "mistakenly portrayed" an innocent man. The mistake causes Vitaly to face his current situation because he reached international fame after his January 2026 release from a 290-day prison term at a facility in the Philippines.

During the viral livestream, Vitaly was heard shouting at Singhania, asking, "You want to rape a 16-year-old? Oh, she did. Where is the Bluetooth speaker?" Singhania immediately fought back against the claims, showing his phone to the camera and pleading with the crew to look at his texts.
He insisted the girl had told him she was 18 and explained that their conversation was about a specific consensual adult kink, not anything illegal. He repeatedly told the team, "I swear to god, I don't move like that." Following the police clearance, Vitaly posted a statement on X admitting his fault. He wrote:
"It has come to my attention that on a recent episode of Catching Child Predators, my team and I mistakenly portrayed Akash Singhania as a child predator. This was a mistake that I deeply regret. He never intended to meet a minor and has been cleared of all wrongdoing. I apologize to Mr. Singhania, his family, his friends, and anyone else affected by this mistake."
Vitaly also asked his followers to stop contacting Singhania, acknowledging that while he believes his work is important, he cannot "lose sight of the truth."
Singhania, however, noted that the damage was already done. In his own statement, he thanked Officers Renald Galstian, Lorenzo Sanchez, and Joanna Hatziefstratiou for their help but highlighted the "significant" impact on his life. He shared that he has faced non-stop harassment and damage to his personal and professional reputation because of the false broadcast.
