Controversial “looksmaxxing” influencer Clavicular, real name Braden Eric Peters, was taken to hospital after a suspected overdose when a livestream he was appearing in abruptly cut out.
The 20-year-old, who is based in Miami, had been filming alongside two other influencers as they moved between a shopping centre and a nearby bar, approaching members of the public during the broadcast.
During the stream, Peters appeared disoriented and slurred his words while speaking to a young woman.
“Holy s**t dude, I'm trying my best, but I'm f**king destroyed right now,” he said, repeating the phrase several times.
Later, while seated in a bar, fellow influencer Androgenic asked him, “When did you last take blue?” as Peters’ head appeared to slump forward.
He was also asked if he wanted an “addy”, seemingly referring to Adderall, a prescription medication used to treat ADHD.
Moments later, the livestream ended without explanation. It is not yet clear what substances Peters may have taken prior to the incident.
In a post on X, Androgenic said the situation escalated rapidly.
“I hadn’t seen him in this state before and he went from speaking to being fairly unresponsive in mere seconds,” he wrote. “Within a minute we all realised the situation, turned the stream off, picked him up and rushed him to the hospital.”
Following the incident, influencer Woah Vicky, who had previously appeared on one of Peters’ streams, shared a message of support, writing: “Praying for clav.”
The episode comes days after Peters appeared on 60 Minutes Australia, where he discussed his role within the so-called looksmaxxing community, an online subculture, largely popular among young men, focused on extreme methods of improving physical appearance.

During the interview, he became visibly irritated when questioned about his associations with controversial figures, including Andrew Tate.
“I see you want to make this political,” he said, before warning the interviewer against pursuing that line of questioning.
Peters has attracted attention online for promoting the movement, which encourages young men to alter their appearance in pursuit of status and attraction.
He has previously claimed to have used extreme measures including drug use and hormone injections.
Prior to his medical emergency, Peters was arrested last month on battery charges by the Osceola county sheriff’s office, according to local jail records and media reports.
