What happened in Ed Voyles Kia TikTok video? Truth behind Atlanta rapper asking for Kia Telluride X Pro revealed

An unexpected phone call turned a normal day at a Georgia car dealership into a viral moment online. A TikTok video shared by TikTok account @edvoyleskia shows an employee at Ed Voyles Kia speaking with someone who claimed to be a manager for an Atlanta rapper. The request was simple but unusual, they wanted to borrow a 2027 Kia Telluride X-Pro, specifically in green, for a music video shoot. The clip quickly grabbed attention, leaving people curious about whether the request was real or just a clever marketing move.

Atlanta rapper’s manager requests green Kia Telluride X Pro from Ed Voyles Kia for music video shoot

In the video, the caller explains that the rapper is very interested in the Telluride and wants it for a specific visual style in an upcoming music video. The manager says they have done similar deals before with other dealerships.

“We’ve worked with other dealerships where they give us a loaner for a certain period of time or for an event or for music video shoot.”

She also adds that in return, the rapper could promote the dealership by showing up for events or bringing attention to the store.

The request was very specific. The rapper wanted the X-Pro version in green because “he’s going for a certain style.” The manager also mentioned they had rented cars before just for one-day shoots and hoped to do the same this time.

The employee handling the call stayed calm but made it clear that the dealership does not usually lend cars in that way. Instead, he suggested buying or leasing the vehicle.

“I would have to communicate that with him. I’m not sure if it’s something that he would wanna purchase himself.”

He explained that the Telluride is in high demand and said it would be hard to promise anything like a rental. At the same time, he showed interest in working something out if it benefits both sides.

“Definitely have that conversation if there is something I’m able to help him out with simply because he’s willing to bring that kind of attention to our store.”

The employee also shared that this was his first time getting such a request. He noted that the X-Pro model costs around $60,000 and even offered a test drive so the rapper could experience the car before making any decision.

After the video went viral, many people in the comments doubted the story. Some users said it did not sound real and believed the dealership may have created the clip to promote Telluride.

The video was originally posted by @edvoyleskia on TikTok, and that remains the main source of the entire story.
