As an Arsenal XI took to the pitch in a behind-closed-doors friendly against Watford on Saturday, several senior players reported back for pre-season training.
Having been selected for international duty during the summer it meant the likes of Bukayo Saka, Thomas Partey, Folarin Balogun, Jakub Kiwior and Aaron Ramsdale - despite not playing a single minute of England's Euro 2024 qualifiers - were afforded extra time off before joining up with their teammates.
But as footage from Saturday's session at London Colney revealed, they are all back now with captain Martin Odegaard leading the way by sending a message to Emile Smith Rowe prior to England U21s beating their Spanish counterparts to be crowned European champions.
So, as the hard work commences for Arsenal's international stars football.london has taken a look at what other noteable things emerged from the training session.
Havertz and Jorginho reunited
After completing a £65million transfer from Chelsea last month on the back of featuring in all three of Germany's fixtures during the international window, Kai Havertz finally made his first appearance at London Colney on Saturday and he was immediately reunited with a familiar face.
It's only six months ago when the attacking midfielder and Jorginho shared a changing room at Cobham but they are very much part of the Arsenal family now and they embraced each other in the hallway before heading outside for a light session.

Trusty shirt number
Speaking of firsts, because he joined Birmingham City on loan almost immediately after touching down in England last summer this might have been Auston Trusty's first proper visit to London Colney since completing his £1.5million transfer from MLS side Colorado Rapids in the 2022 January window.
Certainly a first Arsenal training session for the USMNT defender and he's been allocated the number 32 shirt by the looks of things. Although, whether he will make an appearance remains to be seen as football.london understands he is one of several senior players the club are open to selling this summer.
Trio train
Despite returning to training last Tuesday, neither Takehiro Tomiyasu, Oleksandr Zinchenko or William Saliba were involved against Watford in any capacity at the weekend alongside the other first-team players who had been in pre-season training since the beginning of the week.
Not to worry though, the trio were being put through their paces by Mikel Arteta and his coaching staff so it could have been a case that they are being managed carefully after missing the end of last season through injury with six friendlies on the horizon before the Premier League campaign begins.
