What happened between Eddie Nketiah and Bukayo Saka after Arsenal's 600th Emirates Stadium goal

Arsenal tasted victory at home in the Premier League for the first time in 2022 with the 2-1 win over Brentford at the weekend.

Second half goals from Emile Smith Rowe and Bukayo Saka proved to be decisive as the Gunners moved level on points with West Ham United in this exciting top-four race.

Perhaps the only negative from Saturday was failing to keep a clean sheet, as Aaron Ramsdale was beaten by Christian Norgaard in the third minute of injury time following a VAR check.

With that said, there was a feel good atmosphere inside the Emirates Stadium before, during and after Arsenal 's deserved victory.

And it just so happens that the mood was captured via the club's official YouTube account, as they posted an 'Access All Areas' video that takes fans behind the scenes for the game against the Bees.

From an explanation into why the game was a special one for 'Gay Gooners' - the club's official supporters' group for LGBT+ fans - to watching events unfold on the pitch, plenty was packed into this almost eight-minute clip.

One moment that caught the eye of some Arsenal fans on Reddit occurred during Smith Rowe's celebration.

Not only did the 21-year-old break the deadlock with his 10th goal of the season across all competitions - the first academy graduate since Cesc Fabregas in the 2009/2010 campaign to achieve this feat - but he also scored Arsenal's 600th goal at the Emirates since the stadium opened in 2006.

As he ran off to celebrate with Kieran Tierney and Mohamed Elneny, he was soon patted on the head by Saka.

But at around the 5.05-minute mark, Eddie Nketiah - who was clapping on the sidelines - appeared to have locked eyes with Saka and produced a funny face before the pair broke into laughter.

Nketiah eventually shared the pitch with Saka as he replaced Alexandre Lacazette during the final 10 minutes and Smith Rowe revealed how special the journey has been for the three academy graduates.

"Wow!" he told Arsenal Media. "That's really special to hear that. Yeah, that means a lot, you know? It's always been a dream to play for Arsenal so to hear that, it means a lot.

"I'm buzzing. The goals are really starting to come now but the most important thing was the three points today.

"It's a bit surreal to be honest. Me and Bukayo have both come from the academy, Eddie as well.

"To hear the fans screaming our names and scoring that today together, it's just been great."
