Arsenal star Emile Smith Rowe has reacted brilliantly to his teammate Bukayo Saka's amazing World Cup debut performance for England.
Smith Rowe has played just 47 minutes of football for the Gunners so far this season and will be out until the new year as he recovers from injury. The Hale End graduate underwent surgery earlier this year to repair a long-term groin injury as he targets a comeback to aid Mikel Arteta's side in the second half of the season.
Saka has been one of the standout performers for Arteta in Smith Rowe's absence and has carried his impressive club form into the World Cup. The 21-year-old scored twice for England against Iran as the Three Lions got off to the perfect start with a 6-2 win to move top of Group B ahead of the game against USA.

Smith Rowe would have been one of the star's in contention to be a part of Gareth Southgate's 26-man World Cup squad if it wasn't for his injury this season. The 22-year-old was a crucial player for Arsenal, along with Saka, last term but endured a difficult pre-season and now is focusing on recovering to be a fresh option for Arteta in 2023.
Watching on from home, Smith Rowe reacted to Saka's amazing performance on social media along with many Gunners fans who have labelled the England winger 'starboy'. During the game, Smith Rowe tweeted: "sakaaaaa *tears in eyes smiling emoji* *goat emoji"."
His tweet indicates the Arsenal star feels his teammate is the 'GOAT' which is a slang term for 'greatest of all time'. Many fans would agree following Saka's stunning display after he was denied a hat-trick opportunity after being substituted after 70 minutes with the Three Lions set to play USA on Friday, November 25.
