Manchester United have agreed a deal to sign highly-rated England youngster Evie Rabjohn from Aston Villa.
Villa will not receive compensation for Rabjohn, with the defender having only turned 18 on April 28. According to FA rules, players in the women’s game can move for free before signing a first professional contract.
Rabjohn made her first top-flight start in a 5-0 thrashing of Leicester at the end of March and is an England U19 international. The teenager will train with United's first team immediately, ahead of her formal registration with The FA for the 2023/24 season.

“This is such a big club and to be able to sign here with my family around me is what dreams are made of. I’ll do anything for this team to get us to where we want to be," Rabjohn told club media.
The defender has caught the eye of a host of WSL clubs in recent months, with Chelsea having also reportedly been keen on acquiring her services. She worked with United boss Marc Skinner during her time at Birmingham City's academy and is seen as an exciting, long-term signing for the WSL leaders.
“Evie is a fantastic young player that I have known since she was 10 years old, and whose progress I have been monitoring ever since," Skinner said.
"We are delighted Evie has agreed to join us, and her signing again shows the long-term vision of this great football club.”
