Over the last 12 hours a ton of news has come out related to the Pittsburgh Steelers and its front office. The news has already leaked that Omar Khan will be taking over Kevin Colbert’s job as Steelers general manager. It has also come out that the Steelers will split the duties of GM between Khan and two others, Sheldon White and Andy Weidl.
But what does this mean for Steelers pro scouting coordinator Brandon Hunt? Hunt was believed to be a strong option to become general manager and no one would have been shocked if Hunt and Khan become co-general managers.
With the Steelers opting for other candidates, does this mean Hunt will be moving on? Hunt has left his options over this season, even during the interviewing process. Hunt has interviewed for a variety of front office positions around the league including one with the Philadelphia Eagles.
Will Hunt stick around with the team or will Pittsburgh lose him and Colbert in the same offseason? Let us know in the comments below.
