ITV are treating viewers to a full run down of their daytime shows on Christmas Day.
Usually, the channel just airs two specials of Good Morning Britain and This Morning to mark the festive season whilst Lorraine will also be aired to mark the festive celebrations. All the shows will be pre-recorded with Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield taking the reigns on This Morning with lots of festive guests expected.
Lorraine Kelly will be joined by her team for a special episode with the likes of Joel Dommett as a special guest, whilst Loose Women will also be marking the occasion as it will air between Christmas and New Year for the first time ever.
This Morning usually airs on Christmas Day for a pre-recorded special but for the first time this year, This Morning and Loose Women will also air between Christmas and New Year alongside Good Morning Britain and Lorraine.
There will be additional episodes of the two shows, as a special new festive advert featuring some of the show's biggest stars debuted recently as they celebrated and marked ITV Daytime's offerings this festive period.
ITV are likely to be joined by a mix of stars as a string of the channel's most famous faces appear in the advert including Good Morning Britain's Susanna Reid, Ben Shephard, Kate Garraway, Ranvir Singh, Richard Arnold, Charlotte Hawkins, Andi Peters and Laura Tobin.
Lorraine Kelly also appears in the advert alongside This Morning's main presenting team of Holly Willoughby, Phillip Schofield, Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary. Loose Women is represented by the likes of Coleen Nolan, Kaye Adams, Linda Robson, Judi Love, Jane Moore, Christine Lampard, Kelle Bryan and their newest recruit, Dame Kelly Holmes.
The advert sees the stars celebrate Christmas by handing presents to one another before the tagline reads: "Wake up the happiness this Christmas on ITV Daytime". The advert is set to the track, Shake Up Christmas by Train.
Emma Gormley, Managing Director ITV Daytime, commented: "It wouldn’t be Christmas at ITV Daytime without the return of our Christmas Day special shows from Good Morning Britain, Lorraine and This Morning.
"They are all returning this Christmas morning for a third consecutive year. Also for the first time, This Morning and Loose Women will be on air throughout the Christmas period, alongside GMB and Lorraine, keeping viewers company this festive period."
