West Ham United manager David Moyes has said he is keen to keep hold of striker Michail Antonio despite reported interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers.
The Jamaican international has largely been second-choice upfront this season to Gianluca Scamacca in the Hammers' squad, with Antonio only starting seven Premier League matches so far this term, three came before Scamacca’s full league debut and three have been in matches the Italian was absent for.
Antonio has opened up on his struggles for minutes this season, admitting he had hoped to play more during the first half of the season. That has led to links with Wolves in recent days, with Express and Star reporting that there had been interest from the Old Gold for Antonio.

Speaking about Antonio ahead of the Hammers’ trip to Wolves, Moyes said that he does not know where the reported interest has come from and that Antonio is very much still in his plans.
“We’ve had no offer and no enquiry so I don’t know where that’s grown legs from,” said Moyes.
“Nevertheless, Mick’s really important for us. I think he’s got a two-year [s.i.c. 18 month] contract so he’s here for a while.”
Meanwhile, West Ham have put in a bid to sign Sevilla striker Youssef En-Nesyri on loan this month. However, a move looked unlikely despite the bid being accepted by Sevilla, with En-Nesyri publicly stating a desire to stay at Sevilla and help them avoid relegation out of La Liga this season.
Moyes has confirmed that West Ham were interested in the 25-year-old Moroccan international, but does not see him joining West Ham.
“He’s a player we’ve been looking at for a few years, not just recently,” Moyes added. “But I don’t think he’s coming to West Ham, no.”
