He's already found the net twice for Liverpool, but Darwin Nunez has been hitting the right notes in more ways than one.
The Uruguayan striker has been thrusted into the spotlight of European football after signing for the Reds in a deal that could rise to £85million. And the 23-year-old has wasted no time making an impact on both teammates and supporters.
Like many new signings before him, Nunez had to undertake a karaoke singing task as part of his initiation into Jurgen Klopp's side. Any fears about the new boy's hesitation to come out of his shell were soon dispersed, as former ECHO journalist Dominic King explained in the Daily Mail.

The former Benfica goal machine took on his challenge along with Liverpool's other new arrivals last month at the Brandlhof Hotel in Saalfelden (near Salzburg), during the club's pre-season camp in Austria. Up until this point, Nunez had apparently been fairly quiet since his arrival on Merseyside and looked nervous before taking to the mic for his big moment.
However, once in the spotlight it was a different story. Yet to master the English language, Nunez opted to sing a song in Spanish and showed his passionate side by giving it his all. The forward's charisma on the mic prompted Liverpool's Latin contingent to quickly join in and such was the energy in the room, Luis Diaz, who himself only joined the Reds in January, let himself go, dancing with a shirt tied around his head, before the rest of the squad joined in.
Efforts to help the new attacking focal point settle in have been further aided by Mohamed Salah stepping aside to let Nunez get off the mark for his new club with a penalty against RB Leipzig during the tour. That has already helped the team, with the 6ft 2" forward scoring against Manchester City in the Community Shield and Fulham on the first day of the new season - both times off the bench.
Nunez was not the only employee to make a major impact at the Reds' in infamous preseason karaoke night however. As Paul Gorst reported in the ECHO last month, the star of the show this year was undoubtedly Yinka Ademuyiwa.
Yinka, who is a popular member of the backroom staff, wowed the players with a rendition of Vanilla Ice's 'Ice Ice Baby' that had Van Dijk, Keita and Ibrahima Konate all on their feet in appreciation in the front row. Towards the back Diaz and Kostas Tsimikas could also be seen dancing in the aisles while Harvey Davies and Kaide Gordon also showed their support.
Liverpool supporters will be hoping that the team stays on song when they face Crystal Palace on Monday, after hitting a few bum notes against Fulham.
