What Christian Eriksen did with former Tottenham Hotspur teammates ahead of 'special' reunion

Christian Eriksen embraced his former Tottenham Hotspur teammates in the Brentford tunnel ahead of Saturday’s clash across the capital. The Danish midfielder was set for an emotional reunion with his ex-teammates at the Brentford Community Stadium.

Whilst it was expected that he might have waited until he was on the pitch to greet his former club-mates, Eriksen could not resist a meeting in the tunnel ahead of kick-off. In pictures shared by Sky Sports, the Dane was filmed greeting and embracing the likes of Hugo Lloris, Harry Kane and Ryan Sessegnon, whilst he also appeared to have a pre-agreed handshake with Eric Dier.

The positivity also continued during the clash with Brentford as the midfielder was showered with applause ahead of taking a corner kick in front of the Spurs fans.
