Chelsea have ended their Premier League goal drought as Wesley Fofana headed home from a brilliant Ben Chilwell corner kick against Leeds. The Blues scored just two goals in their last 10 Premier League fixtures, with their last goal coming in the 1-1 draw against West Ham on February 11.
Despite the additions of Joao Felix, Mykhailo Mudryk and Noni Madueke in the January transfer window, Chelsea have been one of the lowest-scoring sides in the English top flight this term. The west London outfit have endured a difficult run of results causing pressure to build on Graham Potter.
There have been calls for Todd Boehly and Behdad Eghbali to sack Potter just months after he replaced Thomas Tuchel in charge at Stamford Bridge. Fofana's goal has eased frustrations amongst the crowd after the team were booed off the pitch at half-time following a poor first half performance.

Following Fofana's towering header to open the scoring for Chelsea, fans reacted brilliantly with the chant: "We've scored a goal, we've scored a goal, we've scored a goal!" Potter was clearly relieved to see his team take the lead against Leeds in what could prove to be a crucial win for him and the Blues should they go on to take all three points this afternoon.
Fans on social media reacted in similar fashion as @ftblShush posted: "Just knee-slided and broke down into tears. We’ve finally scored."
@ShreyaCFC tweeted: "I'm dancing in the dark!!!!!! We've finally scored a goal. Now don't concede to ruin everything."
@35YardsOut posted: "NOT A DRILL WE'VE SCORED!"
@cfc_kova__ joined the reaction with the tweet: "We've actually scored a goal *crying emoji*."
It remains to be seen whether Chelsea can hold on to their lead in what would prove to be a huge three points to ease pressure on Potter.
