It's a massive night of Champions League action as Rangers look to put down a major Champions League marker in the Battle of Britain clash with Liverpool.
Jurgen Klopp's men have struggled to hit the heights of last season that saw them reach the Champions League final and have turned out some lacklustre displays in Europe and the English Premier League so far this season. That doesn't make the task any easier for Giovanni van Bronckhorst's side as they look to get their first points of the group stage.
With Liverpool coming to Ibrox next week and after suffering defeats to Ajax and Napoli already in Group A, Rangers will need to quickly start picking up points against some of the Europe's heavyweights if they have any aspirations of reaching the knockouts. But Rangers can at least take some inspiration from Brighton at the weekend who were 2-0 up in the first half before leaving with a 3-3 draw.
