The Washington Commanders (2-1) face the Arizona Cardinals (1-2) this afternoon from State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. Washington is looking for its third straight win after coming away with a big upset win over the Cincinnati Bengals on Monday Night Football.
This game will feature a matchup of dual-threat quarterbacks and former Heisman Trophy winners. Arizona quarterback Kyler Murray won the award in 2018, while Washington’s Jayden Daniels won in 2023.
Both quarterbacks are off to impressive starts. In Monday’s win over the Bengals, Daniels completed over 91% of his passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. He rushed for another score.
Meanwhile, Murray has been equally as dangerous as a runner and passer.

Commanders vs. Cardinals predictions, picks, odds
Cardinals 31, Commanders 27: Can the Commanders win another road game against a solid team, this time on the West Coast? The odds aren’t in favor of the road team here, but the Commanders have defied the odds under Daniels so far. Washington can’t continue to count on Daniels playing a perfect game. While Daniels will be excellent again, Washington’s defense will struggle to contain Murray.
