The Scottish Premiership has been well represented in Qatar - and now clubs are counting up the windfall they will land from their players World Cup heroics.
Josip Juranvoic and Borna Barisic will keep the Scottish flag flying into their third-place play-off ahead of the final in Qatar, and Scottish Premiership clubs have banked almost £9,000 per day for every one of their players involved at the tournament as part of the FIFA Club Benefits programme. A further £8,700 per day for every player involved who has played for them in the last two years, meaning some unlikely paydays are just around the corner.
Jason Cummings who headed to Australia to kickstart his career with the Central Coast Mariners will land a big pay day for Dundee in the Championship. Jackson Irvine, who also left Hibs for St Pauli in the summer of 2021 will keep the cash flowing to Scotland.
But who is set to be the big winners from the World Cup? Record Sport breaks down the figures for each club.
Celtic
Daizen Maeda, Cameron Carter-Vickers and Aaron Mooy all reached the last 16 of the World Cup. Japan, the USA and Australia all pulled off their own respective upsets to reach the knockout rounds, with every player who reached that stage earning their club £178,000.
Josip Juranovic remains in the Middle East as he prepares for the third-placed playoff with either France or Morocco on Saturday. The full-back's extended stay in Qatar will bring £299,000 to Celtic Park.

Jason Cummings was a surprise to many Scottish football fans when he was named in the Australia squad having turned his career around in the A-League. He rubbed shoulders with Lionel Messi as the Socceroos reached the last 16, and helped Dundee recoup £165,000.

While Dylan Levitt failed to make an appearance for Wales at the World Cup, he still earned the club £158,000 with Robert Page's side failing to make it out of the group stage. Aziz Behich joined the Scottish Premiership contingent in Australia. The midfielder will have added another £178,000 to the Tannadice coffers.

Hearts
Hearts were well represented at the World Cup with Nathaniel Atkinson, Kye Rowles and Cammy Devlin all earning call-ups. The trio played their part in Graham Arnold's side pushing for the latter stages of the tournament.
With the Europa Conference League cash already coming into the Tynecastle this season, Robbie Neilson will welcome the extra influx of money from their Qatar 2022 showing. A cool £178,000 per player could be a boost to the Jambos' January transfer plans.

Jackson Irvine reported for World Cup duty with Australia sporting a retro Celtic kit in honour of Mark Viduka, but it's Hibs that could be the big winners from his World Cup run. After his brief six-month stint at Easter Road the capital club are set to cash in with a £165,000 bonus.

Borna Barisic is the sole Rangers representative at the World Cup call up, but he has gone the distance in Qatar. The Ibrox defender will hope to make his second appearance of the tournament in third-place play-off, but Rangers will know a £299,000 financial boost is already on the way.

Canada made their return to the World Cup with their first appearance in 36 years at the tournament. St Johnstone star David Wotherspoon was on the plane and helped earn the Perth club £158,000, with the Maple Leafs crashing out in the group stage.

St Mirren
Keanu Baccus caught the eye at the World Cup, and Record Sport understands club are set to test St Mirren's transfer resolve in the January window. A big fee would follow the £178,000 payday that is already on the way for Stephen Robinson's side from the FIFA Club Benefits Programme.
