Manchester United put in a vintage performance as they defeated Tottenham 2-0 in the Premier League on Wednesday night thanks to goals from Fred and Bruno Fernandes.
United's performance was one of their most impressive in recent memory and set the benchmark for the rest of the season under the guidance of Erik ten Hag.
There was a real buzz around Old Trafford after their scintillating second-half display and it certainly got the seal of approval from United favourite Patrice Evra as well.

The Frenchman attended the match as a pundit for broadcaster Amazon Prime and was gleaming at full-time having witnessed such a dominating display from his former side.
At the end of the match, Evra was spotted celebrating with a few of the United stars, in particular summer signings Antony and Casemiro.
The Brazilian duo made a beeline for Evra before going down the tunnel, with the trio engaging in celebratory hugs and handshakes.
Speaking last week, Evra named Casemiro and Luke Shaw as the two most important players in the club's recent revival under Ten Hag.
"I was massively pleased with Man United's win last time out, because Everton is a tough place to go. We got a good result in the Europa League, Cristiano didn't score but he had a good game, then against Everton he didn't start but came on and scored," Evra told Betfair.
"Football is so quick. We should give lots of credit to Ten Hag, because he made some more big decisions. He put Luke Shaw back in the team, Casemiro finally started, and I think those two changes made the difference."
