Tottenham attacker Bryan Gil pictured himself on a plane moments before the Spaniard was confirmed as a Valencia player.
The 20-year-old winger will be playing at the Mestalla until the end of the season, both clubs have announced.
A statement from Spurs read: "Bryan Gil has joined La Liga side Valencia CF on loan until the end of the season.
"The young winger joined us last summer from Sevilla and has made 20 appearances across all competitions in our colours to date."
Gil only moved to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium last summer, signing from Sevilla for around £22.5million, in a deal that saw Erik Lamela go the other way.
However, it has not worked out for Gil since his switch to north London, with just nine Premier League appearances to his name - and all of them coming from the bench.
So, it will not come as a surprise that Gil has left Spurs for the time being to continue his development back in Spain, with the Spaniard dropping a massive hint, just prior to the announcement, that he was on his way to Valencia, with a picture of himself on a plane, via his Instagram story.
With Rodrigo Bentancur and Dejan Kulusevski both now confirmed as Tottenham players, Antonio Conte is in a position to sanction a loan exit for Gil.
Before the end of the day, Tottenham are also expected to sanction moves for Dele Alli and Giovani Lo Celso, with both out of favour under Conte in recent times.
Alli is a target for Frank Lampard at Everton, with many news outlets saying a deal is almost done between the Toffees and Spurs.
Meanwhile, Lo Celso, like Gil, could be on his way to Spain, with a loan switch to Villarreal seemingly on the cards.
In terms of incomings, it does not look too likely that there will be any more, but as we have seen in previous windows, that can all change in an instant.
