Bruno Fernandes has lauded Casemiro’s brilliant first-half winner and the subsequent celebration that helped Manchester United brush aside Bournemouth on Saturday.
An improvised scissor kick on nine minutes was enough to earn Erik ten Hag’s side all three points and tighten their grip on a Champions League finish. Liverpool’s draw at home to Aston Villa means United need just one point from their final two fixtures to guarantee a top-four spot.
Casemiro, a defensive midfielder, has proven an unlikely goal source this season, bagging his sixth across all competitions at the Vitality Stadium. United supporters have been debating whether the Brazilian’s strike is their side’s goal of the season so far.

Fernandes was also blown away by the finish, standing just yards away from Casemiro when the ball rippled the net. Taking to social media after the game, the Portuguese ace wrote: "A celebration to match the goal @casemiro. Thank you to the away fans today!"
Casemiro responded with “Sempre juntos”, which translates to “always together” in Portuguese.
