Comedian and actor Stephen Fry is also a prolific writer. The 64-year-old has been writing books since 1994.
Fry got a scholarship to Queens College Cambridge where he studied English and wrote a satirical tale named “Latin! Or, Tobacco and Boys”, which became one of the Edinburgh Fringe festival headliners.
He was then recruited into the Cambridge Footlights comedy revue by fellow student Hugh Laurie.

During the 1990s he rose to fame with hit TV series “A Bit of Fry and Laurie” as well as many others.
Apart from acting, Fry was also busy with writing. His debut novel The Liar was published in 1991 to critical acclaim.
The semi-autobiographical novel follows the life of the lead who attends public school and later Cambridge similar to Fry.

Who is his husband?
Fry is married to Elliott Spencer. The pair met in 2014 via a mutual friend and were married the following year.
Spencer was born in Southampton and 30 years younger than Fry, he is also into comedy and theatre.
The couple are very private about their relationship and not much else is known about Spencer.
