Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have sent mixed signals in recent days. US spot Bitcoin ETFs recorded inflows of approximately $527 million on October 20 and $525 million on October 21, followed by outflows of around $635 million on October 22. Despite these sharp swings, Bitcoin continued to trade within the $83,000–$85,000 range.
The pattern offered an important insight into the current market. ETF flows remained a useful indicator of investor sentiment but were not a reliable predictor of price movements. They were better understood as a measure of changing demand than as a signal of what would happen next.
