The Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup is nearing the end of the group stages and with it brings plenty more drama too. Earlier on Monday morning, Cameroon and Serbia played out a 3-3 draw that thrilled spectators after a series of goalless encounters that left people wanting more entertainment.
Keeping with the theme of plenty of goals from the prior game, Ghana and South Korea also delivered a match that had viewers at the edge of their seats. The African nation started slow, but picked up the pace just before half-time with Mohammed Salisu and Mohammed Kudus both finding the back of the net.
While the Taegeuk Warriors seemed down, they were far from out as they struck two times in three minutes after the break through Cho Gue-sung. There would be yet another twist though as Kudus scored just minutes later to give his side the lead for the final time in the game.

With the nature of international football, some rivalries are put aside for the national teams while others are renewed when it comes to meeting on the pitch. That was the case between Arsenal and Tottenham stars Thomas Partey and Son Heung-min when the two nations faced off.
While the South Korean idol had a quiet game, Ghana's midfield stalwart had the better of him on a few occasions throughout the match. This was seen most clearly as Partey was closed down by Son, but the 29-year-old faked one way and then spun the other to run beyond his rival.
The result means that Son could return to Tottenham earlier than he and his nation would have hoped as they rely on results elsewhere to keep them in the group. As for Partey, he could be set to extend his stay in Qatar if they get a positive result against Uruguay in their final game.
