Arsenal remain top of the league after scraping to a 1-0 victory over Leeds United despite a dreadful display. The game got off to a bizarre start as a power cut which took out the VAR TV feed and goal line technology saw it delayed by roughly 40 minutes.
When things got back underway, Leeds caused the Gunners a few issues with Luis Sinisterra going close on a couple of occasions, but it was Arsenal who took the lead when Bukayo Saka finished superbly from a tight angle after a bizarre back-pass from Rodrigo had been intercepted. Leeds came back out reinvigorated though and half time substitute Patrick Bamford made a huge impact. William Saliba then gave away a penalty for a poor handball, but got out of jail when Bamford put it wide.
A dramatic game continued with Leeds well on top and just when it seemed Arsenal had held out, Leeds were awarded a second penalty and Gabriel a red card for kicking out at Bamford in the box.
