Arsenal striker Gabriel Jesus started his first Premier League game since November last year as he scored twice in the 4-1 win against Leeds United. Jesus was handed a start by Mikel Arteta as he replaced Bukayo Saka in the starting XI with the England international having struggled with illness this week. The Brazilian has been building up his fitness following a return to action after sustaining a long-term knee injury during the World Cup in Qatar.
The 25-year-old had been sidelined for three months and is now ready to make a huge impact in the final stretch of the season as Arsenal challenge for the Premier League title. The Gunners maintained their eight-point lead over Jesus' former side, Manchester City, after securing three points in a crucial win against Leeds - especially after City had demolished Liverpool in the early kick-off.
