New York Red Bulls' all-time leading scorer Bradley Wright-Phillips has recalled a hilarious story about Arsenal legend Thierry Henry.
Whilst the duo had wildly different careers in England, they were both successful in their own right. Towards the end of his playing days, Henry moved to New York Red Bulls and the pair eventually played alongside each other in 2013 and 2014.
Wright-Phillips, who is the son of Arsenal legend Ian Wright, and younger brother of former Chelsea and Manchester City star, Shaun, will always remember a training ground incident where a frustrated Henry reminded his Red Bull teammates who the real superstar was.

The clip begins with Henry, who was the guest on the Lade Out podcast, saying to Wright-Phillips: "I’m not asking you to take the ball and dribble past everyone," to which Wright-Phillips replied: "Oh, well, one time I remember… This is the best story!"
Henry, knowing the story that was about to be told, quickly said: "In training? Oh no, you’re not doing it." Wright-Phillips, laughing, replied: "We're telling it now. We're attacking, we're doing build out."
Henry interrupted: "Don’t name names!"
Wright-Phillips continued: "The midfielders at the time, they weren't turning and weren't playing forward. I made the mistake of saying to T [Henry] 'Hey… they were all moaning and saying, oh, it’s kind of tight. It's too tight.' Then T was like: 'It’s not tight'.
"And I go: 'T, it's kind of tight.' He looked at me like [stares]. He's like: 'Oh, it’s too tight? It's too tight?'
"I was like: 'It seems it, they’re struggling.' So he runs back, gets the ball from the keeper, turns, bodies someone, dribbles past someone, plays me in, I score. I know now as I’m jogging back, he's going to be looking.
"I look and he's like: 'Is it still too tight?!' I was just like… bruh. Not everyone can do that. It's amazing."
Henry, who now sees the funny side of the story, continued by saying: "It’s tough as a player. For me, I could see that it wasn't tight because of my abilities and what I could see."
It's something all involved can laugh about, but it does show the mentality Henry had. Even towards the end of his time as a professional, he set himself such high standards. It's why he's remembered as one of the best to ever play the game.
