Voters in North Yorkshire have had their say in the 2022 local elections.
Ninety seats were up for election in the seven districts of Craven, Hambleton, Harrogate, Richmondshire, Ryedale, Scarborough and Selby.
Ahead of the election the council was controlled by the Conservative Party.
From April 2023 the area will be reorganised into a unitary authority. The county council and the seven district councils will be abolished and their functions transferred to a single authority. This means elected councillors will serve one year as county councillors for the existing North Yorkshire County Council and another four years as councillors for the new unitary authority.
Local elections took place for more than 200 local authorities across the UK, including all 33 London boroughs and 34 metropolitan boroughs in England. In Greater Manchester seats were available in the region's 10 councils.
Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, May 5, with the count taking place on Friday.
You can see the full results as they are declared below from around 5pm on Friday.
