Voters in Kirklees have had their say in the 2022 local elections.
Seats were available in the wards of Almondbury, Ashbrow, Batley East, Batley West, Birstall and Birksenshaw, Cleckheaton, Colne Valley, Crosland Moor and Netherton, Dalton, Denby Dale, Dewsbury East, Dewsbury South, Dewsbury West, Golcar, Greenhead, Heckmondwike, Holme Valley North, Holme Valley South, Kirkburton, Lindley, Liversedge and Gomersal, Mirfield and Newsome.
Ahead of the election, the Burnley Borough Council was run by the Labour group which was three councillors short of a majority.
Local elections took place for more than 200 local authorities across the UK, including all 33 London boroughs and 34 metropolitan boroughs in England. In Greater Manchester seats were available in the region's 10 councils.
Polls closed at 10pm on Thursday, May 5, with the count taking place on Friday.
