Spain’s entry rules require travellers to provide proof of their Covid-19 status. It is imperative for all tourists heading to sunny Spain to be fully aware of what is needed of them by Spanish authorities to avoid being turned away at the border.
Their current Coronavirus requirements means it isn’t just your passport and boarding pass you need to remember to have in your possessions. To enter the country, relevant Covid documents must be shown upon arrival.
As stipulated by the Spain Travel Health website, in order to pass the health controls, people arriving from non-EU countries, or those not considered Schengen associated countries, must present an EU digital Covid certificate, or EU equivalent. However, Spain will also accept the UK’s proof of vaccination as issued in the Crown Dependencies.
