Ajax star Antony has already handed Antonio Conte and Tottenham a blow with his previous Erik ten Hag verdict which alluded to the fact that he would reunited with him if he is wanted.
The Red Devils are still awaiting their first signing of the summer transfer window as Barcelona continue to play hardball on Frenkie De Jong. In addition to the negotiations of the Netherlands midfielder, Richard Arnold and co on the United board have been working on various deals at Ten Hag's former club.
Jurrien Timber was expected to reunite with. his former manager in England but Louis Van Gaal's influence stopped this from becoming possible. Then came Lisandro Martinez who Arsenal are currently leading the race for.

Then came Antony who has been known to want to try something out new for a while and while Goal in Brazil had reported that numerous Premier League clubs were in talk with his agent, it has since been revealed that both Man United and Tottenham are at the front of the queue for the Brazilian. United want to pay straight money for the 22-year-old whereas the Lilywhites want to use the Dutch Champions' interest in Steven Bergwijn to manufacture a swap deal.
Regardless of whose proposal meets the billing for the Dutch club, the winger's comments when Ten Hag left Ajax don't make good viewing for Spurs and Conte.
Back when Ten Hag's exit was announced, Antony dropped the biggest hint that he would like to reunite with him if possible amid rumours that United representatives are on their way to the Dutch capital to conclude negotiations.
"I want to wish you all the best at your new club," he said via The Mirror.
"I also want to thank you for everything you taught me. I am thankful [for] all the opportunities and learning every day. Know that I will always stand with you if you need me."
Although a blow for the north Londoners, it isn't a terminal one as they are still reportedly in the respective transfer races to sign Richarlison, Raphinha and Gabriel Jesus. All attacking options who have been linked to their London rivals one way or another in the form of Chelsea and Arsenal.
