Arsenal stretched their winning run to five Premier League games on Sunday after defeating Leicester City 2-0 at the Emirates Stadium. It means the Gunners are now in pole position in the race for fourth place, with games in hand on Manchester United, West Ham, Wolves and Tottenham.
Thomas Partey's header gave Mikel Arteta's side an early lead, before a contentious penalty decision following Caglar Soyuncu's handball gave Alexandre Lacazette the chance to make it 2-0 from the spot. Leicester didn't offer much of a threat going forward, but the result wouldn't have been as easy if Aaron Ramsdale didn't make an excellent save from Harvey Barnes' headed attempt late on in the first-half.
The save wasn't the only thing to note about Ramsdale's performance, however. Although the Gunners dominated much of the game, there was still a risk of letting the lead slip at 1-0. With the pressure on, Lacazette stepped up from twelve yards - but Ramsdale decided not to watch the penalty.
