Robson Green treated his uncle Matheson and nephew Damon to stunning panoramic views of Northumberland with the three heading to the borders for a spot of gliding.
The action was shown in the latest instalment of Robson Green's Weekend Escapes on BBC2.
Friday's show kicked off with the three trying their hand at sausage making with Maurice and Ben of Rothbury Family Butchers, before spending the afternoon birdwatching with expert ornithologist Tom.
After unwinding, they spent the night in some converted horseboxes half an hour south in Abbeyfield, enjoying a sing song around the campfire with special guest Sandra Kerr. Robson played his acoustic guitar and sang with his nephew, while Sandra joined in both vocally and with her accordion - with a stunning rendition of The Water of Tyne.

With a stomach full of sausages and after an evening of fun, the three rested their heads before setting off the next morning towards Millfield in Northumberland. Here they were greeted by pilot Stewart of the Borders Gliding Club - who took them to the skies in a surreal experience.
After a game of rock, paper, scissors, a nervous Damon was first up to take in the views.
And although he was visibly apprehensive, he was all smiles when he safely landed.. Robson and Matheson ran over to the grounded glider, with the TV host asking: "So what's the best bit about it?"
Damon replied: "Honestly, the moment you disconnect from the tug - it's the difference. You're being pulled and it feels like you're flying, and then you disconnect and you just go, 'woah, we're gliding now', honestly."
He added: "I won't spoil it for you, but all I'm gonna say is you'll love it."
Robson chimed in: "What a way to see the North East of England eh?" to which his nephew, added: "What a way to spend your Sunday afternoon."
Shortly afterwards, Robson's uncle Matheson climbed into the glider alongside pilot Stewart - enjoying a similar tour to Damon. While in the plane, Matheson exclaimed: "This is absolutely brilliant. This is fabulous."
After a few minutes in the air, the glider landed with Matheson saying to Robson and Damon: "That was something else. You can't explain it 'cause you've never done anything like it before."
Robson Green's Weekend Escapes airs at 6.30pm weeknights on BBC2
