Birmingham City supporters hailed the performance of on-loan Manchester United defender Teden Mengi following his Championship debut against Preston North End.
Mengi, who joined the club on loan for the remainder of the season almost a fortnight ago, was handed his first league appearance for the club on Saturday, having a week earlier started the FA Cup third-round defeat to Plymouth Argyle.
Joining Marc Roberts and Kristian Pedersen in the Blues' back three, Mengi helped Lee Bowyer's side earn a respectable point, ending Preston's winning run in the league under recently appointed manager Ryan Lowe, with the contest ending 1-1.
