Manchester United's long wait to score from a corner has been finally brought to an end, thanks to Harry Maguire's first half header against Leeds United at Elland Road.
With 34 minutes on the clock, the United captain, who was controversially kept in the starting line-up by interim manager Ralf Rangnick, powered an emphatic header past Leeds shot-stopper Illan Meslier.
It was a terrific delivery from the left-flank from Luke Shaw and Maguire found space to power home his first Premier League goal of the campaign, sending the away supporters absolutely wild at the other end of the ground.
Having come under hefty-sized criticism in recent weeks, Maguire could not have picked a better time to score and rediscover some much-needed support.
As well as that, United's hoodoo of being unable to score from a corner has finally reached its conclusion.
Below, MEN Sport has taken a close look at what United's fans had to say in response to Maguire handing the Reds a first-half lead in West Yorkshire.
As you can see from the messages displayed in the tweets above, United's supporters saw the humorous side to finally ending their drought of being unable to score from a corner, especially when it was Maguire that brought the hoodoo to the end.
It was, in truth, a terrific leap from the England centre-back and he will be hoping that it is a moment that transforms his fortunes.
United doubled their advantage right on the stroke of half time through Bruno Fernandes, as he headed home Jadon Sancho's cross from close range, meaning he now has four goals to his name against Leeds this term.
