What 267,477 Patient Visits Reveal About Demand on Paraguay's Public Hospitals

267,477 patients passed through Paraguay's 20 specialized public hospitals in August 2026, according to figures released by the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare (MSPBS), underscoring the sustained pressure on the country's specialized care network even outside peak respiratory season.
