Scattered showers are forecast for this Saturday's Summerfest gala day in Cambuslang.
The event is set to return for the first time since 2019, and will take over the Main Street.
The fun day will run from 10am through until 4.30pm, and includes main stage entertainment, various stalls and the community champion awards to celebrate the locals who help the area.
Organisers behind the gala day recently stepped up preparations by holding their annual raffle in Morrisons, with Councillor Walter Brogan on hand to carry out the draw.
Rosie McGlauclin won the top prize of a £100 gift card for the supermarket while other winners landed a 2nd Prize £50 Morrisons gift card and a Cut and Blow Dry from Adam's in Cambuslang.
The raffle raised £607 for Summerfest.
Earlier this year John Edgar, the committee chair, told us: "For Summerfest we’ve lost funding as well, but we wanted to keep going, so that it could be back up and running for the community. It’s always been a day that’s had great support here.
“Even in the years it’s been teeming with rain, people have always come out and backed us.
“It’s good, after the last couple of years, to have something going on for the area, and a low cost day out for the kids."
