West Lothian woman followed by man who 'exposed himself' in local underpass

A West Lothian woman was subjected to a shocking ordeal after a man had 'exposed himself' in a local underpass.

The 34-year-old had been walking through the thoroughfare in Livingston when the man targeted her, before attempting to follow her.

Police in West Lothian are now appealing for information into the incident, which took place in the underpass near to Queen’s Crescent at Houstoun Road.

Occurring at around 12.05am on Sunday (March 27), officers are hoping to trace the man, who was said to have a 'local accent'.

He is also described as being of average build and height and aged around late 40s to early 50s. He was wearing a blue cap, silver framed glasses and a blue zipper jacket

Detective Constable Shona Robertson of CID said : “The woman was extremely shocked by the man’s actions but was unhurt.

"I am appealing for anyone who recognises the description of the man to contact Police Scotland on 101, quoting incident number 3048 of 27 March, 2022.
