Police have locked down a quiet residential street in West Lothian amid reports of gunfire being heard at a property in the area.
Armed officers and riot vans have been scrambled to Glebe Road in Whitburn, while the force helicopter has been deployed following a flurry of panicked calls from neighbours.
Residents reported seeing “flashing lights” suddenly outside their homes as tooled up cops swooped shortly before 9pm.
