Scotland’s largest teaching union has renewed its call for the reintroduction of free Covid tests to schools.
The demand comes two months after Shirley Anne Somerville, the Cabinet Secretary for Education told West Lothian’s depute chief executive Dr Elaine Cook that the Scottish Government would instead stick with a targeted response as the pandemic runs its course.
Free lateral flow test kits were stopped in Scottish schools at the end of the Easter Holidays in Mid April.
