A West Lothian inmate who stabbed a man during a street argument has passed away behind bars, the Scottish Prison Service has announced.
Paul McEwan Lindsay was sentenced for seven years in 2019 after he was found guilty of assaulting George Bell to the danger of his life at Kelvin Gardens, Hamilton, on June 24 2018.
Lindsay, 31, died at HMP Addiewell in West Lothian last week and officers say that the death will be investigated in a Fatal Accident Inquiry.
