Police are to hold a day of action to tackle problems with off-road motorcycles on the footpaths around homes in West Lothian following the arrest of a teenager in relation to incidents .
Police had scheduled an event for early September but plans were scrapped following demands on police numbers after the Queen died on September 8.
On a recent round of local area committees - the latest being Whitburn and Blackburn - the newly appointed community officer Sgt Lee Brodie said he recognised how serious the problem was and was now looking at new dates to hold a day of action.
