A pervert convicted of sexually assaulting a teenager less than half his age was last night starting an 18 month prison sentence.
George McGregor was also told his name would remain on the sex offenders register for 10 years and that he was banned from approaching or contacting his young victim for the next 27 months.
McGregor, 40, had denied digitally penetrating the 17-year-old while she was staying overnight at his West Lothian home on 29 March 2020.
